The Cameroon Design Festival (CDF) is a national initiative created to celebrate and advance the practice, culture, and industry of design across Cameroon. Conceived and organized by the ULEVUS, the festival aims to become a leading annual gathering that honors the creativity, innovation, and impact of design in various disciplines from fashion and furniture to architecture, graphics, User Interface/User Experience UI/UX, technology, interior, and product design.
Through experiential installations, exhibitions, workshops, panels, fireside chats, and music, the festival brings together designers, the public, policymakers, business leaders to discover how design can improve culture and business and initiate and perpetuate innovation.
Cameroon’s creative and design industries are growing but remain underrepresented.
There is currently a lack of formal platforms that showcase local design talent, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and communicate the economic potential of design to government, businesses, and the public. The CDF seeks to address these gaps through a structured, engaging, and inclusive event that inspires innovation and strengthens the community.
