The exhibitions at CDF provide an opportunity to encounter design beyond its finished form. They bring together projects, objects, spaces and visual experiences that demonstrate the thinking, research, experimentation, craftsmanship and cultural influences behind contemporary design.

From architecture and furniture to fashion, product design, digital experiences, visual communication, and craft, the exhibitions present the diversity of design practice while creating space for both established and emerging voices.

Particular attention is given to the ideas and processes behind the work, allowing visitors to understand how designers respond to real challenges, work with materials and technology, interpret culture and create solutions for people and communities.

Through these exhibitions, CDF creates a platform for Cameroonian, African and diaspora designers to be seen, understood, and connected to wider audiences.
